Conner Prairie is a living history museum that preserves the William Conner home. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the museum recreates 19th-century life along the White River. The museum also hosts several programs and events, including outdoor performances by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and summer camps.
Premier entertainment venue featuring fun golf games for all skill levels, a full-service bar and restaurant, all-weather hitting bays and private event spaces.
Recreation
Within this 40-acre park there are sand volleyball courts and an enormous playground that includes handicap-accessible play features, swing sets, slides and more. Take a relaxing walk through the wooded area that leads to the White River.
This 37-acre park offers a large shelter, restroom facility, open sports fields, walking trails and playground area. Beyond the playground, you can enjoy plenty of actual nature including native prairie, wetlands and a pond.
This 15-acre park features the “Old Faithful” artesian well, discovered in the 1800s. A mile-long trail wraps itself through the woods and provides numerous educational spots to learn about nature. Cool Creek winds throughout the park.
This 41-acre park features open greenspace, wooded areas, and access to the White River. The canoe/kayak launch can be used to enter a non-motorized water vessel into the river. There is also a challenging 18-hole disc golf course.
This 62-acre park is located along the banks of the White River and includes a canoe launch. The park also includes paved trails, a river overlook, a playground, prairies, wetlands, softball and soccer fields, and lots of green space to explore.
This 16-acre park has a huge water spray feature where kids can stay cool. Kids can also play on the playground areas throughout the woods – each with unique activities and features. There is a 9-hole disc golf and picnic shelters as well.
